Flower Guild

For the Beauty of Flowers

The beautiful floral arrangements at Christ Church Cathedral are a ministry of the Flower Guild. Each week the guild prepares several arrangements for the worship spaces and for placement in selected public areas of the building. All arrangements are given to the glory of God and in thanksgiving, memory or celebration of individuals, events or ministries the donor wishes to honor. The names of honorees are listed in the Sunday service leaflets and, where appropriate, are be included in the Prayers of the People. The suggested donation is $55. Make your donation online.

The Ministry of Flowers

The Flower Guild is seeking members to help create the flower arrangements for Sunday and other special services. The time commitment is three hours on a Saturday morning every 4 to 6 weeks, in addition to the occasional workshop. Training will be provided.

Flower Guild Forum

Join the Flower Guild for brunch and an informational meeting on Saturday, July 15, at 11:00 am in the third floor forum room. In addition to all current members, the Flower Guild would also like to invite anyone interested in learning more about the floral activities at the cathedral to join us for this offering. (No prior arranging experience is required.) This is an opportunity to ask questions and obtain information about what the Flower Guild does at the cathedral. Current members are encouraged to bring a friend. Please join the guild, Dean Greenwell, and other members and friends for this forum. For more information, contact Peg Roudebush.
