Conversations That Matter

When we see others as the enemy, we risk becoming what we hate. When we oppress others, we end up oppressing ourselves. All of our humanity is dependent upon recognizing the humanity in others.”
– Desmond Tutu

Conversations That Matter
Sunday, June 5, 12, & 19
at 11:30am

Cathedral Library

Sunday, June 5th we launched Conversations That Matter – a space for our beloved community to dialogue and have conversations that lead to transformation. We will gather the first three Sundays in June, specifically addressing the racism and hate in our nation and world today. Conversations That Matter will not be easy, but through listening and honest dialogue we will experience a mutual liberation – so that we can be set free and each do our part in bringing the love of God to the world.

So beloved community, we invite you to join in the challenging work of fighting racism.

A work that requires us to not to look back but to look forward.

A work that requires us to let go.

A work that requires us to confess and surrender, trusting God will bring healing, reconciliation, and new life to our church.

Please RSVP below so we can continue to stay connected and provide resources to those who participate.
