As we enter into our Fall annual appeal campaign, we want to remind the larger community that We Are Christ Church Cathedral.
Here is Why Sue Gives.
Our history in the city goes back more than 200 years, as does our ministry work, and the support we continue to provide to those in need.
Even during this unprecedented period of upheaval and uncertainty, when millions have lost jobs – people who were already living paycheck to paycheck- we continue to serve. We do so by providing rental and food assistance. We give shoes to our friends who make their home on the street. We- both literally and figuratively- help keep the lights on for our neighbors.
We have programs in place that work to support our community, but they can only continue with your support. Your generosity can be the lifeline to someone in need, someone who might not have anywhere else to turn.
Please consider making a contribution to our annual appeal today. We Are All Christ Church Cathedral.
We can all make a difference.
Many have lost everything.
For some, access to health care and support networks has vanished, as well as the ability to pay utilities and rent. Food banks are reporting a 50% reduction in donations. People are hurting.
That’s where you come in
- Your generosity can be the lifeline to someone in need, someone who might not have anywhere else to turn.
- By giving to Christ Church Cathedral, you allow us to continue the work of walking with Jesus in the neighborhood – helping to support those in Cincinnati and beyond.
- Each year, we contribute time, energy and dollars for programs that serve those in need in our community. These programs are ones we run ourselves, such as our 5000 Club food ministry or our Plumb Line rental assistance ministry, or ones run by area agencies.
- We focus on (1) services that meet basic human needs, health care and housing; (2) services to address the needs found within our own neighborhood; and (3) services that promote reconciliation, social justice and advocacy.
