December 22 @ 4:30 pm - 7:00 pm

Pre-Service Music | 4:30 PM
Lessons and Carols | 5:00 PM
Sung by the Christ Church Cathedral Choir
Based on a beloved service offered at King’s College in Cambridge, England, A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols takes an imaginative approach to liturgy, weaving together scripture and song, moving from prophecy to fulfillment, to tell the story of the birth of Jesus. In addition to carols sung by the congregation, the choir will sing Resonemus laudibus (arr. David Willcocks), Jesus Christ the Apple Tree (Elizabeth Poston), I Wonder as I Wander (arr. John Rutter), The Blessed Son of God (Ralph Vaughan Williams), A Spotless Rose (Herbert Howells), A Hymn to the Virgin (Benjamin Britten), The Infant King (arr. David Willcocks), Sussex Carol (arr. David Willcocks), Here Is the Little Door (Herbert Howells), and In the Bleak Midwinter (Harold Darke).
This service is being live streamed.
