Candidate Statement

“In humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others.” (Philippians 2:3-4) We can model this tenet through increased attention to one another, despite a national era of conflict. God desires an intimate relationship with each human being; we must emulate this in our tender relationships with each other. I am passionate about helping the spiritual without a church find a place to grow in their faith; supporting our youth; fostering our music and arts; and contributing to prevention of community violence. As a lifelong Episcopalian, I offer my service for God’s work in our lives together.
