Ushers Needed

Free between 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm Tuesday afternoons? Why not consider being an usher for Music Live@Lunch? Perks include: one free lunch, one free concert, an opportunity to meet the downtown community and to hang out with awesome musician types! Contact Roland Ficke or Shiloh Roby for details. And if you’d rather not usher, but consider yourself  awesome in the kitchen, see below.

Cooks Needed

We are currently in need of additional cooks and servers for Music Live@Lunch. If you are available one Tuesday morning every 4-6 weeks, this is a perfect opportunity to have fun cooking with others, serving our concert attendees, and hearing some wonderful music. Cooks and servers usually work in teams of two to prepare lunch for 25-35 people, and our current cooks would be delighted to partner with any new volunteers. Join us! For more information and to volunteer, contact Dawn Bruestle.

Music Live@Lunch

At 12:10 p.m. each Tuesday, September through May, we offer free Music Live@Lunch. The concerts feature a variety of music, ranging from classical to jazz and music of other cultures. You may bring your lunch or purchase one at the cathedral for $5.

Listen to Associate Director of Music Shiloh Roby talk with WVXU’s Elaine Diehl about Music Live@Lunch!
