Meet the Rev. Troy Bronsink
with the Cathedral Center for Spirituality
Troy Bronsink has been working with business women and men, as well as artists and creative entrepreneurs for over 15 years. His approach to spiritual direction is to partner in witnessing the divine at work in, around, and as you. He believes fully that roots in a Christian contemplative practice can sustain our business life, our creative life, as well as at home and over the weekends.
Troy is founder and director of The Hive: A Center for Contemplation, Art and Action, in the Northside neighborhood of Cincinnati. He is also a member of The Living School with Fr. Richard Rohr in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Troy was ordained as a Presbyterian Church (USA) minister in 2006 in Atlanta, Georgia; earned an M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in 2004; has served on the board of Emergent Village and the leadership team of The Wild Goose Festival; and has spoken and consulted with a wide range of groups ranging from Social Enterprise Cincinnati to Creative Mornings to the American Association of Pastoral Care.
Troy is the author of Drawn In: A Creative Process for Artists, Activists, and Jesus Followers. He is also a singer songwriter with multiple album releases.
Troy lives in Northside with his wife of 18 years and their eighth grade, theatrical daughter, first grade raging-bull of a son, and (as if that weren’t enough) a rescued puppy. Troy loves Rumi, cooking, cocktails, design thinking and cycling along the Riverfront.
