The mission of Christ Church Cathedral Cincinnati is to be Christ’s prophetic presence in the city, offer sanctuary to all people, awaken them to their belovedness in God, and lead the way in making Cincinnati a more just and equitable place - one neighborhood, one person, one moment at a time.

Our vision is to empower people of peace to reconcile, liberate, heal, and serve the world by living out the way of love.

In the first century, Jesus of Nazareth inspired a movement. A community of people whose lives were committed to living the way of God’s unconditional, unselfish, sacrificial, and redemptive love. As Episcopalians, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life-giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

The Episcopal Church has a legacy of inclusion, aspiring to tell and exemplify God’s love for every human being.

Christ Church Cathedral is a welcoming and affirming church. We have long welcomed and embraced our friends who are a part of the LGBTQIA+ community. We believe God’s love is for everyone - no exceptions.
